Jeffrey Coopersmith is the founder of Coopersmith Law + Strategy. The firm provides highly targeted legal and strategic advisory services to an extensive range of global enterprises, non-profit agencies, trade groups, and organizations in the public and private sectors.
Jeffrey’s experience spans legal and advisory services in a wide range of categories including health care, global development, finance, and sales. Major client projects include public policy, regulatory, legal and strategic challenges for Fortune-100 entities, start-up, and mid-sized firms as well as local and global NGOs and multi-laterals.
Jeffrey’s efforts have generated tens of millions of dollars in additional net revenue, resolved complex business, regulatory, and legal disputes, and guided senior executives and organizations through unprecedented market shifts. Jeffrey works with emerging software and device companies on go-to-market strategy and execution, revenue generation, and navigation of business and regulatory barriers.
Jeffrey has designed innovative delivery and financing models for large urban hospital systems and sole community hospitals in rural areas. Such projects have successfully improved outcomes and lowered costs across the care continuum, enhanced integration of services, and turned around hospitals and clinics with dwindling days’ cash on hand.
Jeffrey has spoken on a wide range of topics such as innovation, negotiations, and compliance. He has worked in the federal and state government, including serving as Chief Counsel and Director of Enforcement at the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner and a Legislative Assistant to a Member of Congress. Jeffrey is a graduate of Princeton University and the University of Wisconsin Law School.
