E. Kyle Datta
E. Kyle Datta is a seasoned Hawaii-based executive with a strong track record of linking for-profit, non-profit and social investments to improve quality of life around locally produced food, renewable energy, and waste reduction. Previously, he was a senior official with Booze, Allen & Hamilton where he was the managing partner of the firm’s Asia Energy Practice and later led the U.S. utility practice.
In 2017, Kyle was named to the new Transformation Advisory Council of the Puerto Rico Energy Power Association, which will assist in the development of a long-term vision and transformation execution plan for the power system in Puerto Rico following the devastation of Hurricane Maria.
Datta holds degrees from Yale University School of Management and Forestry in Environmental Science, Natural Resources Economics and Corporate Environmental Management, and is the co-author of several books including Winning the Oil Endgame (2005), and Small is Profitable (2002). Ulupono Initiative.
