Lane has spent over 40 years in executive healthcare leadership. He has experience with small, rural hospitals, suburban healthcare delivery systems and large, urban medical centers. Lane has provided oversight and orchestration of construction projects both large and small, both new construction and major remodels. He has developed physician enterprises and developed the physician leadership structure to assure their optimal operation. Lane works hard to build lasting bridges between health systems and the local community through education, health promotion, and active community involvement.
Lane retired from healthcare administration at the end of 2018. He committed to work for one year with a company started by two emergency department physicians to treat patients with opioid use disorders. This company has now gone nation-wide.
