Reuven Carlyle is a Seattle-based entrepreneur with extensive experience bringing advanced technology products and solutions to highly regulated and global commercial sectors including health care, higher education, aviation, transportation, military, energy, government, and consumer markets.
Reuven also serves as a member of the Washington State Senate where he chairs the Energy, Environment, and Technology Committee.
He previously served in the state House of Representatives where we was a budget writer, chairman of tax-writing Finance Committee and a leading voice on technology-related policies, programs, and initiatives. Reuven was named by Governing Magazine as “one of 12 legislators in the nation to watch,” and by Government Technology (GovTech) as “one of 13 of the most ‘tech-savvy’ legislators in the U.S.”
Business projects include strategic business development, enterprise sales, product and solution market validation, early and mid-stage private equity and institutional financing, investment due diligence, regulatory challenges and approval, marketing and brand initiatives, empowering senior executive teams and providing board of director service.
Technological interests include Internet of Things (IoT), mobile, data management and visualization, wearables, business intelligence and analytics, virtual reality, interoperability, user experiences and interfaces, enterprise strategies. Reuven’s global experience includes business development projects in Asia, Europe, and Israel.
Reuven currently serves on the board of directors of Synapse Product Development and on the board of advisors of Seabourne, Inc. Previously he served on the board of directors or advisors for Twisted Pair Solutions, AirSage, Compelling Technologies, Inc. and V2Green.
Reuven holds an MPA from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and a BA in Communications from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
